Brigada Eskwela was held by the Department of Education this year from August 14-18, 2023. All parties involved in the education system contributed their time, effort, and resources to make sure that the school facilities were ready for the opening of classes. Dr. Tirso V. Gali, School Principal together with Mrs. Marissa C. Montehermoso the Brigada Eskwela School focal Person recruited volunteers who would participate in the brigade. Parents, School alumni and other people from the community were encouraged to join the month-long annual program. Inspections were conducted to determine the school buildings needed upkeep and repair. Following this a school steering committee organized other Brigada Eskwela school activities.
On August 14, 2023 teachers, parents and volunteers who were eager, excited and enthusiastic community members make up the willing, ready and able brigade. From the first day of Brigada Eskwela to the very last day, the allotted volunteers faithfully carried out their given tasks. Unexpected donations were very much appreciated. The classrooms are organized and improved thanks to our volunteers’ overwhelmingly kind help. Now the school is in good shape. In general, the school is now ready for the start of classes.
